Halethrope is a small and close knit community. As the buying habits of our community is molded and forced into large retail like warehouse business like Costco, BJ’s or large scale retail like Walmart and online powerhouses like Amazon, we need to be diligent in our efforts to preserve and not forget our local businesses. At any time, any of these large resources could simply close (our local Walmart) fail or disappear (Amazon.com).
