Baltimore native Robert J. Nowlin, blind Pen Lucy activist who refused to be intimidated by drug dealers, dies

Robert J. Nowlin Sr., a blind neighborhood activist who refused to be intimidated even after his home and his wife’s car were shot up, died July 15 at Mercy Medical Center. He was 84.
