Baltimore City police say a 39-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds late Friday afternoon. Police said they were called to an area on East Monument Street at about 4:42 p.m. to investigate a reported shooting and found the man. The shooting victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. jacques.kelly@baltsun.com
