Annapolis native Brian Phipps was claimed by the Premier Lacrosse League’s Whipsnakes off the roster of the Redwoods this week. Phipps, head coach of boys’ lacrosse at Archbishop Spalding, did not dress for any of the Redwoods’ three games this season.
