‘Younger, quicker, sicker’: COVID delta variant worries weary Maryland hospital workers as cases and hospitalizations rise

Maryland Hospital Association President Bob Atlas says fewer patients are being treated for the coronavirus than during previous waves of the last 18 months and Maryland is faring better than many southern states, but hospitals here could reach a breaking point if the situation worsens.
